JAMAICAN BLUE MOUNTAIN

REGION: Jamaican Blue Mountains are a mountainous region in Jamaica…duh. Within these mountains includes the highest point on the island, the Blue Mountain Peak. The coffee itself is cultivated on the lower slopes of the mountains.

WHAT IT TASTES LIKE: Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is a very well balanced coffee. It is a rich, delicate and mild cup.

WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH? AND IS THE PRICE WORTH IT?

This question is a relative one… it’s like asking why diamonds cost so much… it is a very rare coffee and because of this it is quite sought after. The less you have, the more its worth. In addition it has some very pleasurable characteristics and is high demand because of this.
