TANZANIA PEABERRY REGION: Tanzania Peaberry (as well as all Tanzanian coffees) is grown on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is located in east Africa. WHAT IT TASTES LIKE: Tanzania Peaberry is a very popular coffee, especially in the United States. One of the reasons for this may be because a “Peaberry” is when a single bean develops inside the coffee cherry, which is unique from the typical “flat beans” which is when two beans form inside one cherry. The idea is that because it is only one bean all the flavor is in that one bean, so the flavor is increased in the Peaberry then most coffees. It has a very clean and bright flavor, and hints of fruit in each cup. The Peaberry is a favorite of many people. |

Customer Reviews:Deborah Coldiron (Saturday, 20 February 2010)Rating: ![]() One of J & S's best beans! I love this coffee! Tanzanian Peaberry and Guatemala (Farmer-to-Farmer Organic) are on every order my husband and I place. We used to live in St. Paul, and we've tried MANY of their beans. These two are our absolute favorites. Accessible, universally pleasing, sure things. If you aren't sure what to order, try these. Plus, the Tanzanian Peaberry beans are so tiny and cute!!! rnrnWe really can't live without our J & S beans! We order four pounds at a time! |
