REGION: There are many different growing regions in which this coffee is produced, Tarrazu, Volcan Poas, Tres Rios, and the Central Valley. Because of the fact that there are so many growing regions, and each region has a different taste; each cup of Costa Rica might have just a little different flavor then the one before it.

WHAT IT TASTES LIKE: Generally, outside of the fact that each cup has a few different characteristics, a cup of Costa Rican will be a clean and bright cup of coffee. When you get a really exceptional cup of Costa Rican is usually has a hint of berry fruitiness and a taste bud kicking brightness to it. If you are looking to blend a few coffees, look no further, the brightness of this coffee will add in well to any blend you feel like.
